Commercial Asbuilt Project Types
As-built
drawings (asbuilts) are becoming more and more essential for commercial
buildings as the changes and expansions being made to company
facilities are ever increasing. Prime Edge Asbuilt Services assists
owners, facility managers and commercial general contractors who
are in one of the two following phases of construction:
First,
Prime Edge Asbuilt Services provides accurate documentation of
the structure before a remodel or “addition”
job. The formulation of such documents is usually coordinated
with a General Contractor or an Architect in order to understand
the requirements and specifics of the project. As-built drawings
are delivered to the client both as an electronic file and as
a paper hard copy in standard AIA format, assuring rapid development
through the design phase.
Second,
Prime Edge Asbuilt Services works with General Contractors and
subcontractors during construction to help document changes
and deviations from the original construction plans that inevitably
occur during commercial projects. In their collaboration with
Prime Edge Asbuilt Services, General Contractors are taking a
proactive step by ensuring that their customer receives quality
as-builts at the end of the construction.
Prime
Edge Asbuilt Services has an extensive backround of generating
comprehensive layouts of commercial buildings using today’s
advanced technology. Using accurate measurements derived from
an initial on-site visit, we are able to either update existing
CAD files provided by the client, or prepare a new set of CAD
documentation. Our latest innovation in data acquisition technology
called AsbuiltEdge provides an invaluable advantage when collecting
data on the field or confirming existing measurements.
Prime
Edge Asbuilt Services understands that the successful completion
of any commercial project demands accurate asbuilt documentation,
using industry-wide contingencies, standards and practices. At
Prime Edge, most of our commercial projects are prepared using
AIA layering and drafting guidelines, which assures compatibility
and acceptance by most architectural firms. To inquire further
